Bromley FC is hosting a charity football tournament for youngsters on June 13, 2025, at their stadium. The LASER Education Foundation, a charity created by London & South East Education Group, will host the event to raise crucial funds to support disadvantaged young people across the region. Mark Hammond, CEO of Bromley Football Club, said the club is thrilled to be supporting this event, which brings together businesses and the community to make a real difference. The tournament will feature 16 teams of five-a-side competing for the LASER Education Foundation trophy, with a barbecue afterwards. The event is open to all, whether you are a business wanting to showcase your commitment to corporate social responsibility or a team of friends wanting to enjoy a game of football. Spaces are limited, so individuals and teams are being encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. The LASER Education Foundation's mission is to ensure that every young person has access to the education and opportunities they need to thrive and succeed, regardless of background. Proceeds from this football tournament and other upcoming events will go towards funding sports engagement programmes for young people and bursaries for students from low-income households. Deputy CEO of LASER Education Foundation, Louise Wolsey, added that sport is a fantastic way to engage people of all ages, and through this event, they can fund life-changing initiatives that enhance education and access to opportunities. To find out more about the event and opportunities available, contact Chris Burr, group director. The event promises to be a fun day of football and barbecue, with a great cause at its heart.
